Solution
A = 1/2, B = –1
The second equality A * B = A / B means B = 1/B, or B = +/– 1
However, if B = 1, then the first equality A + B = A * B cannot be true, as A + 1 = A is a contradiction
If B = –1, then A + B = A * B gives A – 1 = –A, or A = 1/2
Therefore A = 1/2, B = –1 is the only solution.
